US economic condition gives impact on the prediction of global economic growth. According to World Bank and Citi Group the global economic growth will lower than economic growth on 2007. Almost all country will have slower economic growth than economic growth on 2007. Table below shows economic growth on 2007 and the prediction on 2008 and 2009 based on Citi Group.

Indonesia is also affected by this condition. Parliament (DPR) predicts that Indonesia economic growth will be 6.5% on 2008. The value of rupiah is around Rp. 9,200.00 – Rp. 9,300.00 per US Dollar. Some analyst still wait the decision of Bank Indonesia to cut the BI Rate after US Fed Rate cut the Fed Rate to 2%.
